How Jardinly Live handles your photos, your voice and your account. Written to be read, not survived.
Jardinly Live ("Jardinly", "we") operates the Jardinly Live app and this website. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at privacy@jardinly.live.
To answer you, we send the current camera frames and audio to AI model providers acting as our processors under contract. They may process your content only to return a result to us. They are contractually barred from using it to train their own models, and we do not sell or share it with advertisers.
Jardinly gives plant-care guidance, not professional horticultural, veterinary or medical advice. It can be wrong. Never eat, apply or medicate on the strength of an answer alone.
Only with processors who need it to run the service: cloud hosting and storage, AI model providers, payment processing, email delivery, crash and analytics reporting. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement. We may also disclose data where the law compels it, or to a successor entity in a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy travels with the data.
Some processors operate outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, together with technical safeguards such as encryption in transit and at rest.
Plant photos and their diagnoses stay until you delete them, or 24 months after your last sign-in. Live audio is discarded when the session ends. Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and for up to 7 years afterwards where tax law requires. Deleting your account removes your content within 30 days, save for encrypted backups that expire within 90 days.
If you are in the EEA or UK you may access, correct, delete, export or restrict your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw any consent. Most of this is a button in Settings; anything else, write to privacy@jardinly.live and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your national data-protection authority.
If you are in California, you have equivalent rights of access, deletion, correction and portability, and a right not to be discriminated against for using them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Jardinly is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data; if you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to staff who need it and is logged. No system is perfect — if a breach affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
This website uses cookies strictly necessary to run it, and — only with your consent — analytics cookies that tell us which pages people read. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner.
We will post any change here and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
